Our Story
The original Loyalty Barber Shop began in Archbald, Pennsylvania in 2012. A vision, realized by three friends, Joey Siconolfi, Bryan Nardella, and James Simon. The vision of a barber shop with not only every chair having a licensed barber behind it that was capable of executing any men's style there is, but also done with taste, and in an environment where the customer is surrounded with culture. Man culture. Cars, motorcycles, guns, music, art, tattoos, food, whiskey, shaving, fashion, brotherhood, and comradery. Anthony Ranella came on board as soon as things started picking up as Loyalty's first employee. Sadly, Siconolfi passed away after realizing his dream far too soon in 2013.
Joey's dream lives on. By the 3rd year anniversary of Loyalty's opening, there were 2 shops with 4 full time barbers at each. Ranella was brought on as a partner for the downtown Scranton location that opened in November of 2014. Also, the Scranton shop participates in the downtown First Friday events and has live music and a new art display on their 40' art rack every month.
There are now 3 shops serving Archbald, Scranton, and Wilkes-Barre. Half of our crews holds both cosmetology and barber licenses, and all of them are licensed barbers or currently awaiting the final exam. All shaving; head, neck, and face is done with a straight razor. Any the products we use we also sell, and if it has the Loyalty logo on it, it is handcrafted by people we know with the finest ingredients available and offered at a price the working man can afford.
